Further Background

Myke has had both a successful and rewarding career in advertising for over 20 years. Recently, he has turned his part time publishing hobby of nearly 8 years into a full time career. It’s been a change, but as a passionate artisan, writer and designer he understands the changing times.

This knowledge has helped his best selling An A-Z of Australian Bush Creatures, to be reprinted nearly 5 times and the “Bush creatures” brand of books has seen the creation of: a How-to-draw Book, Sticker Books, Board Books for little kids. In the future, Myke is looking at eBooks, online stuff and applications (apps) for phones and tablets.

After two decades as an art director and designer in advertising, his experience, is the perfect skill set to take his style of books into the ePublishing future and have children’s books that engage and inspire the next generation of readers, illustrators and writers.
